B.O.B. Trailers recalls about 357,000 strollers
B.O.B. Trailers Inc., of Boise, Idaho is recalling about 337,000 single and double strollers in the United States and about 20,000 in Canada.
A drawstring on the stroller can get wrapped around a child’s neck, posing a strangulation hazard. The firm has received one report of an 11-month-old who got entangled in the cord at her neck. She was freed by her mother.
The recall involves a number of models of single and double strollers, which were sold at REI and other stores nationwide and on the Web at Babiesrus.com, Target.com and Amazon.com between April 2002 and February 2011.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled strollers and remove the drawstring. More information can be found from the Consumer Product Safety Commission and at the company’s website: www.bobcanopy.com.
