Bicyclist Struck on Sheppard Access Road

Earlier this week, a bicyclist was struck and injured by a driver in Wichita Falls. According to KFDX News Channel Three, the collision happened on Sheppard Access Road, around lunchtime. Although very few details about the crash have been released, we do know that 39-year-old Rodney Dewayne Hill was arrested after hitting the bicycle rider. The cyclist suffered from injuries to the leg.

Driver Who Hit Cyclist Arrested

Apparently, the driver involved, Rodney Dewayne Hill, had three outstanding warrants in Wichita Falls at the time of the collision. He was also driving without a license. We haven’t heard if any additional charges or citations have been made in connection with this particular crash though.

There’s no word on the cyclist’s current condition or the full extent of his or her injuries. Also, that person’s name has not yet been released.
