Drunk Driving Arrests on New Year’s Eve

At least two people in Wichita Falls started their new year in jail due to drinking and driving. The arrests were made following two separate incidents. The incidents happened on Kell East between Harrison and Brook. The first accident occurred at about 2:20 a.m. Deanna Galliton was driving the wrong way on Kell East when she struck another vehicle. She was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. While officers were still investigating the scene of the crash, another car drove through the safety flares. This second driver, Michelle Papin, was also arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. Fortunately, no injuries were reported with either incident.
