Father Killed in Oklahoma Crash, Son Critically Injured

A tragic crash in Wagoner County, Oklahoma left a father dead and his son in the hospital. The wreck happened late Friday evening, last week. The vehicle reportedly left the roadway and then rolled. The adult victim, Anthony Drahos of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, was partially ejected from the automobile. He was pronounced dead on the scene. The 12-year-old child was airlifted to a hospital in Tulsa for treatment of injuries. KSWO News Channel Seven reports that the child was in critical condition after sustaining both head and arm injuries.

Authorities haven’t released any information on the cause of the crash. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol did state that Drahos was headed west on 71st Street, before his automobile inexplicably left the roadway and flipped over. According to Tulsa’s Channel Eight News, officials with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol are still investigating the cause of the crash. No information has been released about the boy’s current condition either.
